Somewhere North

What a great way to spend breakfast on a Saturday morning, with the morning sun coming from the east, it lightens up the whole place. Casual seating, in a cosy environment. Friendly staff, and a nice selection of food. Somewhere North is located in the middle of Warrimoo Ave a nice stop on the way to the national park. The coffee and eggs benedict were great. Many people brought their dogs, and next to the shops is a playground for the kids.

Somewhere up north, we were warmly welcomed by Sarah — her kind gestures truly made us feel at home. The café is equipped with a Slayer Steam, Izaga Markibar grinder, and a Mahlkönig EK43. The coffee is roasted by Made To Many, and served through both espresso and batch brew

I found this place by looking up 'best coffee near me'. It was hidden in a residential area nestled in a small group of shops, medical centre, deli, and chemist. It's right nest to a small playground if you have kids. I ordered a pour over that was great. It started off quite subtle, but increased in complexity as it cooled down. I also ordered th brunch brown. I highly recommend it. It seems quite healthy with its focus on veggies. No flavours were over-powering and worked well with one another. There is a huge combination of flavours, textures, and even temperatures. I think the only thing that would have made it better if the perfectly cooked jammy egg was warm instead of cold, but I know this is a preference thing, and it was still delicious. The staff is also very friendly. I can't wait to come again.

Delicious food; loved the touch of native ingredients. Salt and Pepperberry Squid with crunchy saltbush. Could eat more. Well looked after by Eddy, friendly and engaging. Will return for breakfast or brunch. Support local business. Easy parking with disabled spots out front. Cocktails and wines too

Somewhere North is something else! I arrived on a Sunday morning for a brunch. The staff gave me a very warm welcome at the entrance. Knowing that it was my first time there, they gave me a very good recommendation, which made my day! The restaurant is not big (about 8-10 tables), but the design makes it very cozy and relaxing. Will definitely come again on my weekends.

The best cafe in St Ives! I recommend all locals HAVE to visit! Somewhere North is always a treat, and the staff are so friendly. We are so lucky to have such a lovely local spot, the menu is really special with an amazing Australian twist on most items and incredible service. I recommend everything here whether it’s breakfast or lunch you’re after, plus the coffee is superb! I also tried the Iced Milo recently and it is delicious
